Thanks for visiting this site. You are encouraged to become involved in the administration of our local government and its legislative bodies. It is your right, as well as your constitutional responsibility to ensure your representatives are working for the betterment of all citizens of Clarksville and Montgomery County.
I personally encourage you to become actively involved the education of our children. You can be most helpful by visiting schools within the District, offering your services to the faculty and teacher, and serving your district by working on committees designed to help us meet our obligation to educate all of our siblings.
You are encouraged to serve our community by attending city council meetings, county commission meetings and again offering your time and expertise by volunteering to serve on local committees. There are numerous committees, across hte legislative bodies, that have been established to help direct the forward movement of our community. I am sure you can find at least one that may interest you.
The old adage, ” it does take a village to raise a child", is true. It is also a fact that it takes all of us to ensure our leaders are living up to the standards we declared, when we voted them into office. Will you help?
